Award ceremonies have certainly upped the ante when it comes to naming categories in recent years, and among the most striking is The BrandLaureate BestBrands Awards’ The King of Property Award.
This year, that lofty honour was given to group managing director of Mah Sing Group Bhd Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum, whom few would refute, has been at the top of his game.
This was evident in the fact that Mah Sing also took home The Excellence in Property Award at BrandLaureate BestBrands Awards 2016 – 2017, which was held at The Majestic Hotel in Kuala Lumpur last week.
“We are honoured to receive these awards as it highlights the hard work and effort team Mah Sing have invested in strengthening our brand presence in the country,” said Leong.
“Branding is very important and good branding is the key factor in increasing the awareness of a company,” he added.
Leong said the company recently underwent a brand transformation exercise, which also saw the launch of the new company logo and tagline
“Much like our tagline ‘Reinvent Spaces. Enhance Life’, we want to improve the lives of our customers through our products and innovative marketing initiatives,” he said.
Among the recent marketing initiatives that reflect this is Mah Sing’s Fire in The Sky 2 event in Icon City, Petaling Jaya. Aside from promoting a healthy lifestyle, the event allows the participants to experience our facilities and quality products. Mah Sing is also the first developer who has hosted a fitness festival in a completed development.
Driven by its vision “Inventing Future Living That Enhances Quality of Life”, going forward, Mah Sing says it aims to recreate, innovate and push the boundaries of its products to produce deliverables that exceed expectations.
“As we continue with our group-wide transformation our focus will be to not only craft homes that add value for homeowners, but what positive impact we can have on the community as a whole. As a responsible developer, Mah Sing is on the right track and with our transformation in full gear, we will continue to look at ways we can improve the lives of those around us,” Leong said.
