Despite the current soft property market and huge demand for affordable homes, a select number of developers such as Wangsa Tegap Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Berjaya Corporation Bhd, believe the well-heeled still love to buy luxury properties and those in prestigious areas are still highly sought after.
“We understand that the majority of buyers are looking for affordable homes and the biggest segment in the market is the middle-income group. But that doesn’t mean that the smaller segment of affluent buyers and investors should be neglected.
“We are developing Ritz-Carlton Residences for this segment and believe the quality we are putting into it would appeal to them,” said Berjaya Land Bhd executive director Pee Kang Seng at a media tour of the actual suites to introduce the newly designed residences.
Members of the media were given an exclusive preview to give them a reflection on how it will be to live in Ritz-Carlton Residences as well as a glimpse of the luxurious lifestyle experience, which the developer has themed “The Ritz-Carlton Life”.
It is the first standalone “Branded Residences” in KL City Centre not to be co-located with a hotel component, which means greater exclusivity and privacy for residents.
Wangsa Tegap director Francis Ng said branded residences bring with it reputable brands with assurance of quality in construction, design, amenities, management and servicing that will give buyers confidence for a greater sustainable value.
The 48-storey Ritz-Carlton Residences has 288 suites ranging from 1,023sq ft to 4,284sq ft and priced from RM2,500psf.
Facilities for the residents’ exclusive use include a club lounge, infinity pool, gymnasium, private spa, open terrace and garden, tennis court and function room.
Slated for completion in the first quarter of 2017, Ritz-Carlton Residences occupies one of the twin towers at Berjaya Central Park situated at the Jalan Sultan Ismail-Jalan Ampang junction.
