GuocoLand (Malaysia) Bhd’s held a topping out ceremony for its flagship development Damansara City earlier this week, marking the completion of the final tower within the RM2.5 billion integrated project.
Located in KL’s upmarket Damansara Heights district, Damansara City is poised to be a new icon for the locale and it is now expected to be welcome residents by the end of the year and corporate tenants by mid-2016.
“Damansara City comprises two Grade-A office towers, two high-rise towers of luxury residences, a F&B-centric lifestyle mall and a five-star hotel. It is a designated Entry Point Project under the Economic Transformation Programme to elevate Malaysia to developed nation status by 2020 and it has already started to bring new life to the established high-end enclave of Damansara Heights,” said Tan Lee Koon, managing director of GuocoLand.
The final tower to be completed in the development, he said, would play host to the five-star hotel carrying the Clermont brand.
