The slowdown in the property market has not deterred Eco World Development Group Bhd from securing a 30 per cent take-up for its first phase of The Parque Residences in Eco Sanctuary since the project opened for sale early this year.

The Parque Residences comprises six 20 to 25-storey residential blocks housing 1,000 high-rise units. It is part of the 308-acre Eco Sanctuary township at the south of Kota Kemuning. The township consists of landed homes, condominiums, wellness apartments, shop offices, a strip mall, office towers, a hotel and a convention centre.

Phase one of the project comprises three blocks of 597 units with built-ups ranging from 519sq ft to 1,388sq ft, priced from RM400,000 or RM700psf.

Eco World general manager Ho Kwee Hong said sales have been moving slowly but steadily and as such, the company plans to officially launch phases one and two of The Parque Residences either at the end of this year or early next year.

Facilities here include a swimming pool, indoor badminton and futsal court, café and entertainment room, gymnasium, jogging path, yoga deck and community garden.

Ho said that a shuttle bus service connecting The Parque Residences to the commercial hub – Eco Sanctuary City will be situated in the township.

“There will be a space allocated for spa services and we are currently looking for a spa operator to serve the residents,” Ho added.

Ho noted that the full-fledge facilities have attracted many buyers to start their family or their retirement plan here.

The Parque Residences is the first high-rise residential development in Eco Sanctuary and is expected to be completed by end-2018.

Eco Sanctuary is connected to four highways namely the Shah Alam Expressway, the Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway, North South Expressway Central Link and the South Klang Valley Expressway.

The West Coast Expressway linking Banting and Port Klang to Taiping will enhance accessibility once it is completed by end-2018 or early 2019 and it will be connected to the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway enabling users to bypass heavy traffic to Petaling Jaya.
