One of the best things about living in a high-rise is to be able to enjoy a topdown view, especially if you are positioned in the tallest building at the highest point in the vicinity.
Such is the advantage offered by Sunway Gandaria, the mixed development housing the soon-to-be tallest landmark at the heart of Bandar Baru Bangi.
Developed by Sunway Bhd, the 2.04-acre Sunway Gandaria, with a gross development value of RM200 million, will be housed within an imposing 38-storey tower. Dubbed the “Peak of Bangi”, it offers an impressive view of Cempaka Lake Garden and the Bangi Golf Course.
Executive director of Sunway Integrated Properties Sdn Bhd, Ang Kee Ping, said the project will be one of the most attractively priced developments within Sunway Property’s portfolio.
Sunway Gandaria Residences, which is expected to be launched in the second quarter of this year, comprises serviced apartments ranging from 949sq ft to 1,405sq ft, priced from RM550,000.
“Sunway Gandaria will be the choice development for first-time owners, upgraders, and business owners who demand value while capitalising on the growing expansion of the Southern Klang Valley development corridor as an optimal business and residential hub,” he said.
The units come in three types – Type A, with a built-up of 949sq ft, comprising three bedrooms and two bathrooms; Type B, with a built-up of 1,157sq ft, comprising three-plus-one bedrooms and two bathrooms; while the dual-key Type C has a built-up of 1,405sqft, comprising one studio and three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Ang said Sunway Gandaria Residences will include facilities such as spacious lounge and dining areas, a generous 50-metre lap pool, gymnasium, a sky garden, complete with a nearby gym that overlooks the pool as well as a recreational pavilion. Residents will be protected by a 24-hour three-tier security system.
He said that its strategic location will make Sunway Gandaria a smart investment choice as the project is located at the heart of the educational hub and central business district of Bandar Baru Bangi.
“There will be 58 dual key units, which allows for the flexibility of multi-generational living for home buyers or multiple tenancy options for investors,” he said.
Cempaka Lake Garden, a mere 10 minutes’ walk away, boasts a comprehensive range of facilities including jogging tracks, children’s playgrounds, stretching and exercise spots, reflexology tracks, a football field and picnic gazebos.
The area will have easy access to more than 20 schools and universities, financial institutions, shops and other essential amenities. Schools nearby include SR Sri Al-Amin, Rafflesia International and Private Schools and Tanarata International School. Institutions of higher learning nearby include Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Bangi (UKM) and German-Malaysian Institute (GMI).
There are also several shopping malls surrounding the development, namely Giant, Bangi Gateway, Tesco and IOI City Mall; and hospitals such as Hospital Serdang, KPJ Kajang Specialist Hospital, Hospital Pusrawi SMC and Hospital Kajang.
Besides Cempaka Lake Garden and the Bangi Golf Course, residents and business owners can enjoy the nearby Danau Golf Club, Kajang Hills Golf Club as well as the upcoming Bangi Wonderland Theme Park.
Sunway Gandaria can be accessed via eight major highways, from North-South Highway via Kajang or Putra Bangi interchanges, or via the Silk Highway at Kajang interchange via Jalan Reko, NKVE, SKVE, LEKAS, ELITE, Cheras-Kajang Expressway as well as Sistem Lingkaran-Lebuhraya Kajang. The development is also expected to benefit from its proximity to the MRT Line 1 Kajang station to be operational by 2017, the proposed MRT Line 2 Putrajaya station and the proposed Putrajaya-Kajang BRT line.
Sunway Gandaria is expected to be completed by 2020.
