Home-grown interior specialists are stepping up their creativity in conceiving interpretations of modern contemporary designs that appeal to a range of buyer profiles.
Fashioned by Metrics Global Sdn Bhd’s team of young designers, these local specialists with unconventional design approaches provided a glimpse of exemplary opulence across two different residential units at a recently completed high-rise residence within GuocoLand Malaysia Bhd’s Damansara City development in Kuala Lumpur.
THE STYLE ICON
This 1,148sq ft one-plus-one bedroom unit is idealy designed for a young couple in mind who is actively engaged in a work-travel lifestyle.
The versatile design of the leisure room makes it interchangeable between a bedroom, a hobby room, or simply a storage space.
From the grand entrance profile to the perforated copper partition that provides a hint of privacy to the living area, the bold identity of the client is clearly reflected. The living area features a “wall-hung TV” on a large and seamless projection wall while the tastefully selected grain pattern of solid timber planks cover the wall to the ceiling.
The interior design revolves around three concepts – bold individualism, intricate details and an edgy eclectic blend.
THE PALACE DELUXE
The 1,668sq ft two-plus-one bedroom unit exudes luxurious fittings and elaborate lighting to grant its residents unmistakable grandeur.
In catering to the profile of the maestro and his family, the design here intertwines details between a modern minimalist and the old Shanghai, reflecting a delicate yet fashionable lifestyle.
Featuring walnut wood from the living hall to the head board, the space is illuminated by various types of lighting to enhance the ambience of the room.
Next to the master suite, the secondary bedroom derives its interior style composition from a vibrant blue to a dash of navy blue.
