Mah Sing Group Bhd celebrated a major milestone in the progress of its much-awaited The [email protected] project in Iskandar Malaysia, marking the completion of structural work with a topping-up ceremony held earlier this week.

The [email protected] is an integrated development taking shape in Johor’s rapidly emerging administrative capital of Nusajaya. Offering hotel-serviced suites, serviced residences, and Small office-Versatile offices as well as a retail component, the project measures over 8.19 acres and has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM1.1billion.

At the topping-up ceremony, Mah Sing pointed out that The [email protected]’s structural work comes with the CONQUAS Structural Assessment score of above 80 points. Since its inception, it has also registered a zero-accident safety record.

According to senior chief operating officer of Mah Sing Group James Bruyns, the project is now well on course to be completed by June 2017.

The [email protected] is located within the special economic zone of Medini, a township development poised to become the central business district of the newly created southern economic zone of Iskandar Malaysia. As such, the project will enjoy privileges such as tax exemptions and no price limitation for foreign buyers.

“Further to this, market catalysts such as the proposed rapid transit connecting Johor and Singapore which is due to commence in 2019 as well as the High Speed Rail scheduled for completion in 2022 will further improve connectivity and draw investors to Johor Bahru,” said Bruyns.

Additionally, The [email protected]’s location along Persisiran Pantai JB-Nusajaya puts it approximately 45 minutes from Singapore and less than a kilometre away from the popular Legoland Malaysia theme park.
