WORK BEGINS ON THE AWARD-WINNING GOLDEN GATEWAY PROJECT IN THE VIBRANT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT OF BATU KAWAN

In conjunction with this, developer Golden Land Bhd also formally announced that Nam Lean Construction Sdn Bhd has been signed on as the main contractor for the project, which has already garnered recognition for its 4-in-1 business solution concept by taking home the “Best Niche Industrial Award (Penang)” at the Property Insight Prestigious Developers Award this year.
Golden Land Chief Operating Officer Ng Heng Phai said the selection of a main-con for the project was a process the company paid extensive attention to. It was important to engage a company with a good track record as well as an entity that shared similar values on uncompromising quality, safety and timely delivery.
“In addition to full technical competency review, we looked closely at their track record of quality and timely delivery, financial history and safety record. We are pleased with our selection of Nam Lean Construction and Golden Land now looks forward to bringing our vision of Golden Gateway to life,” Ng said.
Taking shape on 21 acres in the strategically important northern industrial hotspot of Batu Kawan on the Penang mainland, Golden Gateway reaches out to a new generation of industrial business operators by catering to a rising demand for flexible and multi-functional units that satisfy a wide range operational needs.
Ng pointed out that the project’s key appeal lies with its 1 price 4-in-1 business solution design. It accommodates four important purposes that are becoming crucial elements in a rapidly modernising e-commerce industrial landscape: Supply, Store, Show and Sell.
“This is striking a very positive chord with contemporary industrial operators, support service-based businesses as well as new-age online retailers. Strong interest from these groups tells us that we are on the right path with regard to trending demand, and we are grateful that our intuition has allowed us to serve the lively Batu Kawan locale in a more meaningful way,” he said.
