SETIA SAFIRO’S PHASE 1A AND SETIA MAYURI PHASE 1’s SEMI-D HOMES SOLD OUT ON LAUNCH WEEKEND

In this prolonged soft market, it is hard to determine what flies and what doesn’t with a buying public that has temporarily lost its appetite for property purchasing.
It is no secret that transactional numbers are dwindling, amplified by an uncertain economy and a tough financing climate.
Even so, market watchers believe that pent-up demand for properties exist, and when the right opportunity presents itself in the form of that age-old adage, “the right property, the right time, the right price”, there are those who will explode into action.
Perhaps this is what best explains SP Setia Bhd’s sold out response to its newest projects Setia Safiro and Setia Maluri recently.
Setia Safiro, located in the company’s award-winning Setia Eco Glades enclave in Cyberjaya launched Phase 1A of its project last month, while Setia Mayuri in Semenyih, Selangor, also recently unveiled the first phase of its residential development recently. Both projects received rapid gratification.
Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) of SP Setia Datuk Koe Peng Kang said the success also indicates the trust purchasers have in the SP Setia brand, which is something the team has built over the years with many successful property endeavours.
“I believe that homebuyers are confident with the Setia brand, and our ability to deliver unique concepts and quality homes that they expect from the No. 1 property developer in Malaysia. Setia’s agility in understanding and adapting to the market’s needs, listening to the homebuyers feedback also contribute to strong interest from the public for every project that Setia launched,” said Koe.
He said Setia Safiro is a self-sustainable development priced at the mid-range to cater to first-time home buyers as well as also young families who are looking to upgrade their lifestyles. The concept taps into “Spanish elegance”, with design elements that are inspired by Barcelona’s widely-adapted modern integrated grid plan.
The driving ideology behind the project was to provide between man, nature and transportation.
Phase 1A of the project offers freehold double-storey link homes located 5km from the Setia Eco Glades at Cyberjaya.
“Based on the strong joint-venture relationship we have with Setia Haruman Sdn Bhd, the Master Developer for Cyberjaya for Setia Eco Glades, we are thrilled to be developing Setia Safiro with them. Homebuyers can expect more of such successful collaborations in the near future in Cyberjaya,” said Koe.
He said that while all 97 units at the project’s first phase are sold out, the public can look forward to the upcoming launch of phase 1B in the near future.
Meanwhile, Phase 1 at Setia Mayuri offered just 46 Balinese resort-inspired semi-dee homes, which were all sold out soon after its release.
The project was built to be reminiscent of a 5-star family retreat, providing exceptional exclusivity and serenity for residents, as well as carrying a tagline of “Your Everyday Holiday Home”.
Setia Mayuri also hosts intricate sculptures that bear the rich artistry of Balinese culture, which also features prominently at the entrance. Within the enclave, picturesque homes fuse classic Balinese styling with contemporary design features.
The RM700 million project has drawn particular attention because of its strategic positioning between the two rapidly growing urban hotspots of Semenyih and Broga, which discerning buyers have identified as a strong potential for capital appreciation.

Tan said that the earlier success of Baris Place, Setia Mayuri’s commercial zone of 32 lifestyle shop offices had already put the Setia Mayuri development on right footing, and he is confident that it will grow into another strong and self-sustaining project that SP Setia is known for.
