Gamuda Land officially introduced some of the key retail partners that will be setting up shop at its up-and-coming Quayside waterfront commercial hub this week, and they seem to be brimming with confidence about the prospect of this development.
The commercial project takes shape Gamuda Land’s latest township of “twentyfive.7”, which is taking shape in the mature neighbourhood of Kota Kemuning in Shah Alam.
Among the brand names that will be a part of Quayside are MBO Cinemas, Tai Thong Restaurant, Jaya Grocer, Mr. DIY, B.bap, Caring Pharmacy, Guardian Pharmacy, Watsons Pharmacy, Poliklinik Shaik and Ooi & Khor Dental Surgery.
The future tenants expressed confidence about the appeal of Quayside as well as the overall masterplan of the twentyfive.7 township masterplan, which harmoniously blends key elements together to create a unique lifestyle proposition.
This includes eye-catching architecture, a central park that is accessible to the entire neighbourhood, well laid out streets and pedestrian paths with convenient interconnectivity, and a waterfront that anchors the entire development and gives it its character.
“When all of these come together, the town takes on a personality so that when residents live there, they feel a strong sense of belonging. At twentyfive.7, it is about a vibrant community filled with energy,” said Gamuda Land COO, Ngan Chee Meng.
“For the town to work well, we need to get the important places right – the play place, the work place, the park place, the shopping place, the dining place and the home place. At twentyfive.7, we know that these places should be by the water to create a nice setting that will be a joy for the community. So we have the Quayside,” Ngan added.
Residential neighbourhoods within the township are designed and planned to promote connectivity and community interaction. The neighbourhood parks and customised playgrounds, the linear park in the back lanes of the homes and the walkability from the front door of the homes to the waterfront all serve to allow residents connect with one another, with nature and with themselves.
Envisioned to be the heart of the township, The Quayside a vibrant commercial hub that is perched beside twentyfive.7’s central lake. It is home to a promenade with retail and dining outlets, boutiques, a marketplace, a designer district for young designers and start-ups as well as an event plaza that will host entertainment facilities and various performances.
It also boasts a boardwalk, a cantilevered Skydeck over the lake as well as a running and jogging track, offering the community an outdoor play place by the lake.
Ngan said twentyfive.7 will be a one-of-a-kind destination in the area and that the project is expected to be completed in the first phase of twentyfive.7. This ensures that residents will have an immediate place to dine, shop and spend quality time with their families.
The designer homes offered at the development break away from typical cookie-cutter home designs and layouts. They feature multi-facades and landscapes that are curated to suit the needs of different consumers – from singles, couples to various types of families.
The “Light House” design concept of homes here allow 70% natural lighting and ventilation into its triple-volume living and dining spaces, while the “Flexi House” is a dual-key unit, which allows flexible planning for residents with many generations under one roof as well as those looking for rental income.
Homes at twentyfive.7 are currently open for registration. The first phase comprises 181 superlink homes and 98 semi-detached homes.
